Quick Update
just got back from having thanksgiving in vegas. i actually drove my car there...first time i ever took my car out of the state. and the big news about the trip...it was actually a pleasant visit, with no bickering amongst the family! i know! i can't believe it...everybody got along

a few drawbacks though...
-i caught a cold on tuesday night, and was feeling it throughout the entire trip
-tom's dad was taken to the hospital with liver issues...hopefully things go well with him
-i lost $40...but that $40 was distributed throughout 8 hours of playing...4 hours on thanksgiving night, and 4 hours on friday night...so not too bad!

next up...lake tahoe next weekend! going there to celebrate Leia's 27th birthday which is on December 1. I'll be there from December 4-7. it will be my 2nd time there. this time around, it should be a bit more fun since the last time i was there was with someone's family. that was fun too, but i did not have as much freedom as i will have next week =)
