Damn them music peeps
this napster injunction thing is really starting to suck. i mean...im glad that the artists are looking out for their well being...but they forget about us college students...who have better things to spend money on than on CDs. getting music from napster is an economical way for us students (and non-students) to enjoy the product that these artists are putting out. i dunno about you...but i dont listen to all the songs that are on a CD that i buy...so basically im paying for songs that i dont even want...when i really want 1or 2 or 3 songs from that 1 CD. these music peeps arent suffering...theyre still multi-millionnaires living in bougie (sp?) mansions...driving 4-5 ferraris, escalades, etc. while we college students are going from loan check to loan check...or working our asses off to try to pay for tuition, books, food, rent and entertainment. i mean...yeah i can see that they dont get any money from the music thats being shared on the net...but at the same time...its not like theyre doing back-breaking labor or working in sweat shops, while living in poverty. think about it....what they dont make from the music thats being shared on the net, theyre making it up with personal appearances, concerts, endorsements, and CDs that are being sold. if anything, the small-time artists should be the ones who are complaining...cuz they havent made it into the mainstream, but most of them are getting new life from their music being circulated on the web, and are benefitting better w/ napster, than without. i dunno...that was a random thought that i had last night as i was studying...and i went on napster to find some songs, but i couldnt find any that i wanted. oh well...i got some other programs that i use to get my music.

good job Janet on your Korean Drum Dance performance on saturday, it was pretty cool...i hope i get to be an ATC for summer bridge, my interview was on saturday, and i think i did well...APSA officer meetings are really long..., i have to make my monthly car payment, ack $250 down the drain...speaking of $$$ for my car, i have to take my car for its routine maintenance, more money!!!...i also bought my grad banquet ticket yesterday....and i gotta buy my semi-formal ticket too...good thing i get paid tomorrow!!!

ok...i guess thats it for now...i should be going to my physics class in 5 min...but im gonna ditch, cuz its a really nice day, that and my professor isnt that great. enjoy =)
