And I thought last week was bad...
what is it with me and long ass weeks? this week has just begun, and yet it already feels long. i dunno...i guess its because i realize what i have ahead of me. wanna know what i got coming up this week? sure you do!!! let's see...basically, i got 1 ochem lab and 1 prelab due tomorrow...1 physics lab on wednesday...another ochem lab on thurs...a physics quiz, an ethnic studies midterm, and genetics homework on friday. argh...thats just school work. i also got to turn in my application for OASIS Summer Bridge to be an atc, and my officer statement for APSA. not a fun week at all. i dont think im gonna be doing any "socializing" this week...so no aim...no random trips...none of that...strictly business.

since i havent done it in awhile, here are a few random thoughts....whats up with the weird weather? sunny, cloudy, cloudy, sunny, i wish the weather would make up its mind...just in case i didnt mention it, this week is gonna suck...i hope i get to be an ATC for bridge...thanks Janet for your bluntness, i needed it, and i will keep it in mind...i hope all this studying that im doing will pay off...green tea house has some good boba, better than woo, but woo will still do...ok back to work time, more blogs later...stay tuned

Realizations
yeah yeah...i havent been updating this thing in awhile...ive been really busy and havent really had much time to do much blogging. i dunno...this week has been really busy and stressful for me. i'd rather not go into much detail, let's just say that i havent had much time to do stuff that i wanna do...like sleep and watch tv. but i have done a bit of thinking. i dunno...a lot of things have been bothering me lately. i've been doing a lot of self evaluating just to try to figure things out. just things like my relationships with people, especially with my friends who are girls. i've been noticing things about how my friendly relationships have been going, and i've received some input from some observers. i guess, i have come to the realization that i can sometimes be...how shall i put this...a lil bit too friendly with people. i dunno...i guess its my way...and the way that i was brought up to be...but i guess somehow being too friendly has had some negative effects in the way people perceive me, and in turn...the way i perceive myself. but the thing is, its hard to change the way i am. i dunno...i guess the only way for me to do that is to control my friendliness. but...argh...i dunno...it's late, and i have alcohol in my system right now. i guess my thoughts are easier to understand in my head than in my blogging. well...lemme go ponder some more as i nod off to sleep. nite =/

ok...its the weekend...i am happy. ya know how rough this week was? argh!!! let's see...i had to do a prelab for ochem and physics, i had to finish another lab for ochem, i had a paper to write for ethnic studies, i had a physics quiz, and i had to do genetics homework that i had no idea how to do. that was just the school related stuff. on top of that...i had to work and i organized the thai tea/chicken kelaguin sale on library walk for APSA. argh...this week was really busy...but i survived!!! now i got the weekend to chill and relax. i got some studying to do for my genetics midterm next week...but i think im gonna hold off til sunday night.

ok enough of that boring stuff about school...here are some random thoughts...
i got my car back today,im happy, it looks like brand new cuz they detailed it...i hope it doesnt rain this weekend cuz as i said, my car is clean...whoever is reading this should go to the APSA retreat this weekend, cuz it will be fun...green eggs and rice, who woulda known it was the golden rice bowl?...free jamba juice is definitely a good thing...hi tara (she made me say hi to her on my blog)...also go visit my fellow bloggers David, Janet, Reggie, Jas, Phil, Baker, and my friend Angeli. they got some interesting things on their blogs...well, all except baker, who has yet to post anything. hurry up baker!!!

ahhh *in a relaxed way*
ya know that "ahh" feeling that u get when you've finished your paper? well i have achieved that feeling. i finished my ethnic studies paper....a day early too. wow...aint i a nerd? hehehe. well actually...i did my paper so i could study physics and do my genetics homework tomorrow. now thats what i call planning... get a paper done a day early...work on other homework the night before its due...turn it in on time. i am so cool...what do u think...am i good or what? eh..dont answer that....dont pop my bubble!!!

and so i've been neglecting my blog thing lately. i dont mean to do that...but im trying to get my act together this quarter in regards to my school work...i mean...i really slipped up last quarter, and i dont want that to happen again. so this quarter, my main focus will be on school...although i have also been keeping myself occupied a bit. well...since i have pretty much decided to run for the fundraising coordinator position in APSA, i was asked to test my skills out at organizing an APSA food sales event. so i did just that for today...we sold thai tea and chicken kelaguin (a guamanian dish). and i would have to say it was a great success. we sold out of everything!!! so im pretty happy about that. the whole crazy process happens all over again tomorrow...this time, it's during my busy day for school...so i gotta find someway to get organized, while still going to my classes. (good luck jeff...hahaha) but yeah hopefully i accomplish things that i wanna do tomorrow w/o going crazy. oh btw...i would like to thank Steph N., Chris, David, Dave, Steph A., Janessa, and all those who helped me out today, and will help out tomorrow...i couldnt do it without u guys.

i miss my car...i hope i get it back soon, janessa and mayrin are a couple of really boba happy people, homework sucks, papers suck...especially when u havent read for em, tomorrow is gonna be really hectic, i keep seeing one of my APSA high school conference students all over the place...i think she's stalking me =), speaking of boba...i think i want some, hmm...i think thats all for now...i really should stop procrastinating and get going with my ochem lab write up. hasta...

*DISCLAIMER ALERT* ok...my blogs have been pretty much upbeat and happy...but a whole bunch stuff has been happening thats been seriously buggin me and bringing me down...and since this is my self-expression page...im gonna express myself right now...so if u dont wanna read about a whole buncha shit...then turn away...

why does life have to be so damn fugly??? ok...first my fuckin grades come out crappy, forcing me to have to take summer school (something that i didnt plan on doing) then a whole buncha other shit happens. well...im just gonna explain the events of the past weekend (saturday-monday). ok...i guess saturday started out alright. i got to sleep in, i ran a few errands, and then i went to VSA culture night @ UCSD...which was pretty cool. after that, Chris, Baker, Darrell, and I went to Shea's birthday party @ the Navy Sub-base in Pt. Loma. well, when we got on base...i had no idea where i was going...so i was looking around for signs that say where it might possibly be. well, apparently, i was riding up on a police car's (unmarked ford explorer) tail...so they circled around to get behind me...and pulled me over. this was the first time i had ever been pulled over!!! according to him...i was speeding (i think i was going about 30-35 mph in a 25 zone) but the thing is...i didnt see any fucken signs saying the speed limit...then he had to say "you probably didnt see it cuz you were going too fast." that didnt sit well w/ me...but i didnt say anything cuz thats just something u dont do. well...he let me go w/ just a warning...so we drove the rest of the way to the locale of the party (Harbor Inn) at just a notch below the speed limit. well...the rest of that night was ok...we partied (somewhat), we ate, we went home. well...thats not the end of it.

the next day, i talked to my friend Raquel on the phone, and she told me that she was in an accident on Friday, and so she went home, which is why she didnt go to culture night. after i got off the phone w/ her i went to church. after church, i stopped by home real quick, and then left to go to the APSA grad-banquet meeting. since this meeting was a potluck, and i didnt have anything to bring...i made a quick pit-stop to Vons to pick up some chicken. well...while i was looking for a parking space...I GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT!!! damn it damn it damn it!!! well, lets just say that this lady was backing out of a parking space, and backed into me!!!! and now my rear bumper is hanging and my light is cracked. my damage was worse than hers!!! so yesterday wasnt really a good day...after i reported the accident to my insurance company...i went late to the meeting at David's apartment. and after that we went to Fusion, which was pretty cool. and after that Janessa and I went to eat @ Keiths...where i pretty much vented to her. but then when i got home...i got into a fight with my mom cuz i told her about the accident. she was cool about that...the thing that got us arguing is that she asked if i was taking off work to take care of my car and i said that i was in addition to a little bit of school, and then i told her that i care more about school than work...and she took that to be a smartass comment and thought i was taking out shit on her...but i wasnt...i was just explining something to her. argh...why does she have to be so difficult??? was that the end of it?? noOOoo!!!

today...i talked to my mom...and i found out that she is selling the house and moving to vegas. she had been talking about doing it..but didnt actually do it until today. i was obviously upset cuz 1. my mom is moving 500 miles away and 2. she's selling the house that i have lived in off and on for 17 years. why do bad things like these have to keep happening to me? what did i do to deserve all this crap? shit...i dont need all this...i got other things to worry about damn it!!!

first off...i just wanna congratulate Mayrin on becoming the next Senior Senator for Marshall College. too bad i didnt vote for her =). i couldnt vote for her anyways...since i go to *ahem-Muir-ahem*...ya know...that sucky college. congratulations are also in order for the entire Unity slate...it was a clean slate for them...they got all the offices in AS that they were running for. and also congratulations to Chris and ASP for finally getting AS funding that they have waited something like 4 years for.
ok...that blog was very politically minded...but hey...these peeps worked hard for what they got...and im very happy for them.

well...my car is now in the shop. i put it in to get fixed on wednesday, and they said it should take up to a week to fix it. there was about $1000 in damage...maybe more if they find more when they open her up. so now i'm stuck with a rental car. its a 2000 silver Saturn that is fully loaded...so that isnt bad...but i still miss my car =( another good thing about my rental car is that i have unlimited mileage, so i can go anywhere i want. so i think im going to LA this weekend w/ some APSA peeps for a conference @ USC...and then i think we're gonna chill in LA afterwards like we usually do. ah well..back to work. happy good friday the 13th everybody!!!

ok...this message was originally written today around 1pm...but blogger wasnt working...so here is my original post from this afternoon...

man...the phone company sucks...my phone has been out for like 2 days, cuz of some problems with the wiring outside. so i havent been able to go online to do some "homework"...hahaha...more like chatting on AIM. actually w/o AIM, i've been able to get a lot of real homework done. but seriously, i had some stuff to do on the internet for my physics lab and my o-chem lab, but w/ no phone line i couldnt go on the internet. so to do my the internet stuff, i had to go to my friend Joan's house on tuesday night. i felt all bad, cuz when i got there she was already getting ready to go to bed. well, i didnt really feel all that bad, since she is on spring break. did i mention that she has already graduated from college and is now teaching at the infamous Santana High School where all the shootings happened? well yeah...she does, and she was there when the shootings happened...but she was outta the way..so thats good. well anyways, her school is now on spring break...so she's just loungin around being a bum...and besides, it was only 10pm when i went to her place...so it wasnt like it was all that late. but the phone line now works...cuz the phone dude came out to fix it this morning. ah well...im at work right now...i should be doing some real work...but i decided that i need to update, so here i am. but actually, i gotta go to class in a few minutes. yay 3 hour o-chem lab....more to come later =)

oh btw...i found out where APSA gets its Thai Tea for when they sell it. we get it at a place in Carmel Mountain called Thaigo. Armando and i went there last night to pick up some tea to sell today. this will come in handy if i become APSA's fundraising coordinator for next year. oh yeah...did i mention that i was running? well...yeah...im running for fundraising coordinator. i have a lot of cool ideas for the position...and for the annual talent show. i hope i get the position. but if i dont get it...Jas, who i'm running against, will do a good job in the position, since she helped to coordinate this year's talent show...but yeah...i hope i get it.

i was supposed to go help out @ Marshall's Cultural Celebration for Admit Day...but when i woke up @ 10am, it was raining...so i figured that the APSA tabling was cancelled, so i went back to sleep...and woke up around 1ish. so i called Armando (i shoulda done that earlier) but he didnt pick up. but he called me back after i got out of the shower. he told me that there were a grip of peeps there...so i told him that i would come after doing a few things around here....but by the time i was about to walk out of the house...my mentor May called me to tell me that there was not too many peeps left...so i just decided not to go...and just run errands around Mira Mesa. so here i am now...just chillin til 6 or 6:30. cuz thats when i am gonna head to UCSD forreal...so i can watch VSA's culture night @ the Mandeville Auditorium. after that...my co-worker Shea is throwing a big party at the Navy Sub-base to celebrate her belated birthday...so a lot of us are gonna ride down there. who knows...we may stop to get some boba along the way...hehehe

have u ever stopped and wondered....what happened to them one-hit and two-hit wonders? some friends and i were sitting down in the saac lounge today and we were discussing that. since then, i've been thinking more about that. what ever happened to groups like Aha...ya know, the group that sang that 80's song (and popular cell phone ring tone that everyone and their mom has) "Take on Me" or Biz Markie who sang that whiney song "You got What I Need"...'Girl...you got what i need...when u say he's just a friend...when u say he's just a friend...' (dont make me sing) or even the more recent groups like Something for the People, who sang "My Love is the Shhhhh"? c'mon, you all know these songs. haven't you ever wondered what happened to em...and why they never came out with other cool (or sometimes annoying) songs? well...i have. i wonder...if they were to come out with that stuff today (never releasing it before)...would people like it? would it make it in the top 40? hmm...could u imagine Aha competing with a group like N'SYNC? hmm...Take On Me vs It's Gonna Be Me. who would win??? my pick...it's gotta be Take On Me. c'mon now...have u ever heard a cell phone with an It's Gonna Be Me ring tone? i dont think so!!!

nothing really happened today...it was just one of those days where i went to work, went to lab, went to the saac lounge (as always), went home...boring day. well...at least i got to sleep in today, since my first class wasnt until 220. i slept til 1015...cuz i didnt feel like going into work early.

im back on the boba wagon again. i havent had any since sunday when Steph N and i went there. i've just been really busy, and havent had the time to go to Sam Woo's. ah well...the weekend is coming up, im pretty sure there will be a field trip to Woo's sometime either tomorrow, saturday, or sunday...maybe even all 3. wanna come with me? call me up on my cell anytime day or night!!! =) 336-.... eh...call me if u know it...hahaha =)

i overslept again!!! but i wasnt as late...argh!!! i woke up at 715....so i was like 5-10 minutes late for my 8am. i tell ya...this schedule is really throwing me off sleepwise....hopefully i'll get used to it soon...

my schedule for this quarter is pretty weird. well...lemme explain. i start class on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays @ 8am. on tuesdays, i start @ 1245...and on thursdays, i start @ 220. this throws my sleeping pattern off...cuz i have to wake up @ 645 for 3 days outta the week and i get to sleep in the other 2...but i have to change the alarm settings everyday so i wont have to wake up @ 645 when i dont have to. this is gonna be hazardous if i forget to change my alarm back to 645am when i have my 8am classes. well...since today (yesterday actually) was a tuesday...i slept in til 915-930ish...i wanted to wake up @ 900 to go to work by 10...but i got lazy. so i strolled in to work around 1030ish...ah well, my boss doesnt care..he doesnt really keep track of my hours, as long as i get my work done. hahaha...half the time he's not even there. i love my job...i have to say that it's prolly the best on-campus job to have...cuz the pay is great...and i can come and go as i please...and get this, they also gave me a cell phone (nextel) that i can use whenever. i dont really carry it around, unless i have work since i have a phone that has free mobile to mobile...so i usually use it to make non-mobile to mobile calls. after work, i went to physics, and then to 3 hours of ochem lab. then i chilled in the saac lounge as usual, and went to the APSA meeting. that was my day...how fun.

damn...i really need to stop logging onto aim. it's hella addicting...and i tend to get distracted when i got stuff like hw to do. argh...maybe i shoulda given it up for lent...hahaha...maybe not. well...imma get off to get myself a peanut butter and banana sandwich...those things are mighty tasty, especially when they're hot...then im off to bed, since i got an 8am tomorrow. nite!!! =)

1st day of Spring Quarter
guess what...i overslept today!!! on the very first day of spring quarter, i wake up too late...lucky me. i had planned on waking up at 645am to get ready and go to my 8am class. but when the alarm went off...i decided that i could prolly sleep for another 10 minutes. next thing i know...its 740!!! so i got outta bed, jumped in the shower, got dressed, grabbed some oj, and ran out of the house...all this in 10 minutes. usually if i leave the house this late, i could count on spending 30-45 minutes in traffic cuz of the stupid train that usually passes when i get to the railroad crossing...but amazingly there was no traffic, and no train...so my commute to campus was only 15 minutes. by the time i got off the shuttle, it was 810 am...and i rushed over to WLH 2001 where my physics class was only to find a sign saying "Physics 1B has been moved to York 2722"...meaning that i would have to haul ass all the way across campus. but as i was heading over there, i saw my friend who told me that there was no one there. so i turned around and went back to WLH 2001. but when i went inside, the class being taught wasnt physics 1b...it was physics 1c...so i left. when i went outside i saw a crowd over by WLH 2005 and it turned out to be the physics 1b crowd...so we went inside. it turns out...someone was playing a late april fools gag on everyone, including the profs and switched all the rooms around...so on weds, we will be back in WLH 2001. that was only my first class. nothing else dramatic happened today...i just went to work, and went to my other classes (ethnic studies & genetics). everybody and their mother are in my ethnic studies class. and genetics is alright...but i might drop it if i dont like it. later on...i went to the APSA officers' meeting to check it out. so that was how my day went...how fun.

oh did i mention...i have a conflict on monday mornings w/ physics & o-chem lab lecture?....ah well..thats another story.

first of all...i would like to welcome back all you UCSD peeps from spring break. it kinda sucks that we have to go back to class and stuff, but oh well. at least we are all within reach of one another to go chill or something. but hey...11 more weeks (10 weeks, plus finals week) and we'll be on summer break for 3 months. but yeah...i hope that u all have a great quarter...i personally hope to have a better quarter than the last one.

today turned out to be a lazy day. i woke up around 1 thanks to daylight savings time. i did some back to school shopping for supplies. i was supposed to wash my car, but it was kinda gloomy, and looked like it was gonna rain sometime soon, so my car is dirty for now. after shopping, i chilled for awhile and then went to the airport to pick up Steph N.. i dropped her off at her apartment, then went to K-7 to see who was there. it turned out that Baker, Chris, and Armando were there chillin. Chris practicing on Dave & Mikey's 1's and 2's while Baker and Mando were checking out EverQuest. Dave was also there, but he was fresh from his week and a half trip to Europe to visit Iris & Emily with Steph A. so he was nappin. after that i went home and cleaned my room. ugh...i dont wanna go back to school =/

my boba fast has ended. after 5 days, i gave in, and had myself a thai-tea boba from sam woo's. on the way back from the airport, Steph and i made a pit-stop at woo's and got some boba. it was mighty tasty...i liked it a lot!!! =)

ugh...i dont wanna go back to school!!! its fun not having to wake up at 645 in the morning to battle traffic in order to get to class to learn about some scientific discovery or some meaningless equation. ah well...the education process must continue. i hope i get better grades this quarter than last quarter. =/

ahh...it feels nice to be able to sleep in without waking up to an alarm clock. although i have been on spring break this past week and i have gotten a lot more sleep than i would if i were in school, i've still had work, and so i have been using an alarm clock (my usual 3) to wake me up. but today...today i didnt have work, and i didnt have any finals, no meetings, no conferences, and especially no school related extra-curricular activites (APSA stuff). i just slept in as late as i wanted, well until the phone rang about 12:30. but by then i had had enough sleep...although i prolly woulda slept more if it werent for the phone. for the rest of the day, i just ran errands and such. i was supposed to go out with Janessa & Darrell but Darrell went home, and Janessa couldnt make it. so i just went to Friday's with my "wise" friend Joan =). i hella stuffed my face w/ Jack Daniel's wings, fries, and an ultimate strawberry sundae for dessert. i felt like a stuffed turkey when i was finished...i almost exploded when Joan was purposely making me laugh. =X. after that, i just went home, and now here i am. oh yeah...don't forget to set your clocks ahead 1 hour!!!

Boba-free watch day 4: this madness hasnt stopped yet. i havent had any boba since tuesday night. that's amazing!! well, i have gone longer without boba...but i havent tracked how long ive been without until now. im not trying to see how long i'm going without boba, im just making note of how long ive gone without. im sure that i'll have one sometime soon...i dunno when...but i will!!! trust me =)
