that time of the year
this weekend is graduation weekend for UCSD. i went to the Marshall College graduation, and saw so many friends that i have made over the past few years walk up on stage and receive the key to the next step in their lives...their degrees. it was bittersweet to see them up there. i was happy for them that they achieved the fruits of their 4-5 years at this institution, but at the same time for selfish reasons, it was kinda sad to see them take those next steps, because they were taking the next step in their lives, leaving us behind to continue on. the memories that i have shared with them makes me wish they were staying here longer so that we can make more memories together...but thats wishful thinking, for them to do so would mean that they would have to take a backward step. so all i can do is wish them well, and hope that they will come back to visit every once in awhile. congrats to the class of 2002 and good luck in the futere. stay tuned, we'll be back after these messages =)
