Moving In
for the past few months, i have been talking and talking about this thing called summer bridge, and about how i am really excited about moving away from home and into the dorms @ UCSD. well now that time has come, and i am now residing in the dorms of Argo Hall @ Revelle College. i moved in today, and am pretty well situated...well not too situated, cuz i have to move outta this room on friday. no i'm not moving back home after only 4 days in the res halls. someone @ the reservations desk here goofed up, and forgot to reserve the dorms for the staff of summer bridge the week before bridge begins (now), so for right now, we are stuck in temporary rooms until we can move into our more (somewhat) permanent rooms this friday. the room that im in isnt that bad...its meant for 3 people...but im the only one here. and im only sharing the suite (living area w/ 7 rooms) with Chris since no one else has checked in yet. but when i do move into my room, i'll be in a 2 person room by myself and sharing a suite w/ only 3 other peeps...so that shouldnt be too bad. ah well...im gonna head off to sleep now since i got training @ 8am in the fricken morning...nite=) stay tuned...we'll be back after these messages!!!

Insert title here
here it is the groove slightly transformed...just a bit of a break from the norm...just a little somethin to break the monotony...of all that hardcore dance that has gotten to be...a little bit out of control it's cool to dance...but what about the groove that soothes that moves romance...gimme a soft subtle mix...and if aint broke then dont try to fix it (dont try to fix it)...and think of the summers of the past...adjust the base and let the alpine blast...pop in my CD and let me run a rhyme...and put your car on cruise and lay back cause this is summertime...
remember that song??? summertime by will smith (aka the fresh prince)...that song brings me back to my days at hickman elementary school...somewhere around 5th or 6th grade...maybe cuz thats when it first came out. that has to be one of the all time summer anthems, and must always be played at one point or another during summer, or else it isnt summer.
as for what i have been up to...pretty much the song describes what i've been up to..well sorta. i've mainly been workin and going to summer school. and just chillin w/ a few friends here and there. i dunno...im just trying to enjoy myself as much as i can before september 20 comes around...cuz when that date hits, the craziness starts all over again...well lucky for me, i have 4 day weekends next quarter, otherwise it will really be craziness. so since i am trying to make the most of this summer, i havent really been making much of an effort of updating my blog (although i have been on the computer a lot cuz of work and pure boredom)...but im not as bad as some people...*ahem*...right Janet? =)
for now the days are counting down until summer bridge training begins (it begins this wednesday)...i am definitely looking forward to working for this program (as u can tell in a lot of my other previous blogs)...it really made an impact on my life atUCSD, and i hope to make the same impact to the incoming freshmen who are going through the program. another perk for me working for summer bridge is that i get to move out from home for a month...it aint much, but at least it's something. as for now, i think im gonna head to bed...eh, maybe not...i think im gonna play some ps2 then go to sleep. stay tuned we'll be back after these messages...=)

A Very Special Day
so the countdown to the very special day has reached 0...meaning that the special day has come. the event that occured on this day? why of course, my birthday...my 20th to be exact. 20 years ago today, Jeff Green hit this earth, and the world hasnt been the same ever since...haha yeah right. but yeah, i am officially not a teenager anymore, which means...absolutely nothing other than the fact that i dont have the word "teen" in my age anymore. i still have to wait until i can do anything "legal," although i have bent the laws on a few occasions =). but anyways, today was a pretty nice day...although i did go to summer school, and popped into work for a few hours. tonight i went out w/ my family (dad, aunt, and 2 cousins) to dinner @ the international restaurant on convoy. the food was alright, although it wasnt as good as it was the first time i went there. and then i got a Playstation 2 which means i can play video games and watch DVD movies...it will come in very handy when i go to bridge. tomorrow...i celebrate w/ my friends at my dinner party @ trophy's in mission valley. that should be fun...anyways im gonna stop wasting what's left of my special day on the computer, and finish wasting it in front of the tv. stay tuned...we'll be back after these messages =)

1st day of Summer School
today was a really long day...well somewhat. i woke up @ like 745am so i could give my friend Cynthia, from UC Davis a mini tour of UCSD and get her parking permit before her 930am class. after that...i had nothing to do for the next hour and a half, so i went in to work...big mistake!!! the minute i get in, peeps were storming me to do stuff....they were like "welcome back jeff, good to see you...could u do this for me?" i had my vacation, now im paying for it...oh well. anyways, i went in til 11, then went to my bio class. my professor, has a really strong british accent...he's the type of guy who would pronouce tomato with the long "A". so i sat through an hour and 20 min of his quirky accent...then grabbed something to eat (away from price center)...then went back to work, where i was stampeded again w/ peeps asking me to put their computers together and stuff. after that i went to UPS to pick up the new One Voice CD that i had ordered...woohoo...its pretty cool, i like it a lot!!!=). then i went to get some boba from green tea house...damn it!!! they raised prices there...i paid $3.43 for a honeydew milk tea w/ boba!!! it's raised $0.43 since they opened 3 months ago!!! im gonna have to cut back a bit. but after that, i just went home and chilled. hmm...i guess thats all for now...no randomness for you...i need to get to sleep, my boss asked me to come in a bit early tomorrow for something...good thing i get weds off for the 4th...ah well...nite all...stay tuned, we'll be back after these messages =I

MIA
wow...long time since ive updated...well i've been pretty busy since i last updated. i havent even been in the state for the last week. yup, thats right, i went to Las Vegas with my dad to visit my brother, since my dad hasnt seen his new house. but yeah...i was there for 6 whole days...6 days of not being able to do any "Vegas" things...sucks not to be 21 in a place where u have to be 21 to do anything...now i know how Ian feels here in daygo =รพ (just playin ian). anyways, other than that, i had been working, and chillin w/ friends who are left in daygo. yesterday i went to Rosanna's 21st birthday party right after getting back from vegas...i was tired, but i still went...lotsa peeps who i havent seen in awhile there, and of course there was lotsa drinking there...but none for me...i was too tired, and still had to drive later. after that, i went to Chrizil's graduation party. there were a lot of UCSD peeps and alumni there....we got a long game of scrabble going...that seriously took forever, but it was fun...my team won!!! GO SPEEDOS!!! =) after that, i was about to go home to pass out from the long day...but i was persuaded to go to suspension bridge with Chris, Baker, Jane, Trixie, & Annie. pretty cool stuff, but a bit freaky w/ the squeakiness of the bridge, and the "mysterious" lights that kept moving towards us. it was fun...but then afterwards, i went home and passed out til like 2 today. and tomorrow...i get to start summer school...yay me!!! 5 weeks of Bio2...woohoo!!!
randomness...Las Vegas is a mighty hot place this time of year...i move out from home in less than a month for a month!!!...oh yeah, and of course the count down for a special day, days left: 11. ahh...i guess thats all for now, so stay tuned...we'll be back after these messages =)
